Waterproof, windproof and breathableThe Pelmo is a 2-layer construction Powertex laminate with a fully adjustable hood, waterproof front zip and high, integrated storm collar. Our design team took their inspiration from Monte Pelmo – a high, solitary limestone summit in the Dolomites.
Packable protectionIts Powertex fabric has an impressive technical spec for mountain adventures. The functional membrane has a high waterproofing hydrostatic head: 10,000 mm (if you put a cylinder over a piece of the fabric, you could fill it with water to a height of 10,000 mm (10 m) before water would begin to leak through) and high breathability (ability to allow moisture vapour to the outside of the jacket) of 10,000 g/m²/24h, i.e. 10,000 g of water vapour can pass through one square metre within 24 hours. In addition, there is a comfortable, silky taffeta lining.
Its features include ergonomically pre-shaped sleeves, taped seams and a PFC-free waterproof finish. The two sleek, zipped pockets, bonded details and reduced stitching create a clean, finished overall look.
